The woman behind camera
Meet Jawaniecika " JoJo" Bryant

You know what's funny?
I never knew being a photographer was a thing.
Growing up, I always had a camera in my hand but I never expected that a camera would change my life.
It wasn't until February 12, 2012 that I was exposed to my first DSLR.
A family member came home to visit and she was using her Canon 70D.
It was like walking into a room and catching the gaze of your soulmate - God ordained and unexpected. I remember sitting there awe struck after hearing the sound of the shutter. I had never heard such a sound.
My world was rocked.
I often describe that moment to a fire being set ablaze in my heart. Truly and purely indescribable.
I ran across a field to get home to my daddy. I bust through the back door and caught him sitting in his recliner watching television. Barely being able to catch my breath, with no knowledge of anything but me wanting a canon camera, I made the ask.
Less than two months later, I had my first DSLS (canon rebel t2i).
Photography has opened my life and mind in ways I cannot explain.
I have been fortunate to be in incredible spaces and meet amazing people. Along with those spaces and people, I love capturing such priceless moments.
My eye is focused on the moments that take you back. The moments where when you look back at the pictures, you remember the exact thought you were thinking or the joke that was told to put a smile across your face.
It truly is the experience for me.
My passion for photography introduced me to my purpose in life:
Doing small things with great love while capturing a human experience.
I know how to deliver a phenomenal project but it's the impact that gets me every time.
